Product overview (purpose)
Block is classified by three main category depending on the location in ship and, also, by bottom, hopper, S/Shell, Upper, Engine Room. At the factory of Gunsan, block such as Side Shell, Hopper, Engine Room is fabricated, and now, Hopper & S/Shell Block is focused in Gunsan Factory.
The fabricated block contains Hull, Outfitting & Painting Process, and it is delivered after all processes.

Advantages
Hull structure have been fabricated for a period, and technic to fabricate Hull Structure is well trained, and huge product can be made on the basis of the technic.
At the time of beginning, large outfitting such as Hatch cover, coaming has been fabricated. Now, the job moves to hull structure containing curved block requiring high technology. All of such products can be fabricated by applying the experience for prior structure fabrication.
